Lisa’s 365 Project 75/365 – Out in the Backyard

So I went out in my backyard today checking out my garden after the storm and I see the little yellow flowers on my tomato plants. That is a good sign that we will have tomatoes soon.  I also tried to get a few more raindrop shots while I was out.  I am going to have to start using my tripod when trying to get these.

I have to say, I am really enjoying my new macro lens.  Awesome mother’s day present!!!

Lisa’s 365 Project 74/365 – The Perfect Raindrop

Well….this isn’t it.  I need more practice.  I would like to get a pictures of a raindrop or dewdrops with a reflection on something in it…A tree, building, another flower, even me…just something.  I think those are the coolest pictures.  I’ll keep trying.  I guess you can kind of see a reflection in this one but it is not as clear as I would like for it to be. Practice makes perfect…or close to it….so I’ll keep practicing.  We are supposed to get more rain tonight so maybe I’ll have a chance to try again tomorrow.

Lisa’s 365 Project 72/365 – Picnic at the Airport

We decided to have a little picnic after church today and watch the airplanes take off.  I was surprised at the number of people there.  The girls had a lot of fun.  Even my oldest enjoys watching the planes take off.

I love the picture below.  I am so happy that I had the camera in my hand at that moment.  I don’t know what they were saying to each other but they look so cute.

Lisa’s 365 Project 71/365 – Geese on the Pond

I wanted to find a nice place to take pictures during lunch today.  I drove around to a park where I had taken a picture of some flowers.  I thought I would try my macro lens on them, but they were not there.  So I drove around until I thought about freedom park.  I walked around for a little, sat by the pond and took a picture of a few geese.  I’m not 100% happy with the background being blown out, but I still like the geese.  I used my new macro lens for these images.
