This is my first post in my new blog to document my photo hobby.  I’ve been taking pictures with a Canon DSLR camera for 4 years, and I’ve come a long way.  Here is one of my first pictures:

I thought I would just be able to pick the camera up and take great pictures… That wasn’t the case.  As I mentioned before I have come a long way, but I still have a long way to go.  I just purchased a new book “Understanding Exposure”.  I just started reading it yesterday, and some of it is a review and there is a lot that I just didn’t know.    So I’m looking forward to growing and learning as I read and practice the exercises in the book.
