Lisa’s 365 Project 14/365 – Say Cheese & My Own Design Seeds

Every Wednesday, I pick up our little cousin from school.  He is so sweet and we all look forward to having him come over just as much as he looks forward to us picking him up.  Last night I didn’t feel like cooking so we had cheese pizza and they really enjoyed that.  When I brought out my camera, little man grinned and said cheese!!!

So…on another subject, I love Design Seeds. I receive them via e-mail everyday and they always make me happy.  What is even more exciting is The CoffeeShop Blog now has a color palette template where I can try my hand at creating my own little designs.  I decided to take one the green velvet cupcake pictures and give it a try.

Lisa’s 365 Project 11/365 – St. Patrick’s Day

In my house we don’t make a big to do about St. Patrick’s Day.  We might wear green and that’s usually about it.  This year, I decided to take it just a little step further.  I didn’t do corned beef, I’ll try that next year.  Instead we had roast beef and I made yummy green velvet cupcakes.  I saw a pin on pintrest for this and decided that I had to try it.  It was pretty easy, just find your favorite red velvet recipe and instead of adding red food coloring add green instead. I used one bottle of McCormick green food coloring.
